2011
My dream began. I was at
our home fellowship about one hour away. We planned for a “big event”
and made plans to meet again early the next morning at another location. It was very late,
already in the wee hours of the morning. It was time to leave, and considering the long drive home, time for food preparation for the event, and travel time the next morning, I knew I had no time to waste; I was in a
hurry!
I opened
the door to leave my friend’s home to find that it sat on top of a church. The
church was built in the style of a giant football stadium with the pews
descending all the way to the ground. I could have traveled down the steps, but
there were way too many! I decided to skate / slide over the tops of the pews
to save time. Before I began, I was surprised that there were people still
sitting in the pews at this late hour. I noticed that there were not very
many people at the top, but it became more crowded the closer I came to the
ground. The pews were packed on the bottom 4 or 5 levels. As I skated down I
looked to make sure I didn’t disturb anyone, and at the top no one even noticed
me, around half way down, a few heads turned. Finally at the lowest
level, my presence caused a great disruption. I felt bad for disturbing them,
but I was in a hurry. I arrived at the ground level, and it was an actual
stadium floor where the game would be played. Interestingly, I noticed there
was no preacher present. The people were all simply talking to their neighbors.
I took off
RUNNING the moment I hit it to the ground! Attempting to leave, I ran to an
opening where the football players run out onto the field when I heard a giant
crashing sound. I stopped and saw that the entire bottom level of the church
pews collapsed! I knew there was something that I did that caused it to happen.
I felt bad, and I considered for a moment going back to help the elderly or
anyone who was injured, but I knew I had something more important to do and
some place I HAD TO GO. I walked through the opening. There was complete
darkness on the other side. END OF DREAM
This dream
is one in which my understanding has grown over time. Immediately, I knew the
picture of the stadium-style orientation of the pews pointed to two things,
time and rank. It may have been just last year that Ruach haKodesh allowed me
to understand more. As the time grows closer to our Messiah’s return, more
people will fill the church pews looking for understanding. The bottom pews
were packed. Notice there was no pastor. I believe this is because most have
taught the pre-trib rapture doctrine. They won’t have answers. My initial
understanding of “rank,” matured as well. I thought at first it represented an
importance in man’s eyes, such as leaders, but that was incorrect. It
represented a rank according in YHVH’s eyes. Those people live closer to Him;
there were not very many people there. Our little home fellowship was on top of
the entire church. I believe that is because we have returned to the whole
word, the Lawgiver/His Son. We desire to return to walk in His Ways and His
Feasts and Appointed Times.
The hour
was very late! I was in a hurry. I have understood this to mean that I would
not spend a lot of time in church making the call for people to repent and
return (teshuvah). It wasn’t until the mid point that anyone even noticed
me. This might point to the beginning of the Great Tribulation, the beginning
of the last 3 1/2 yrs. I had no real impact at all until the very end. I had
already made it to a doorway, when I realized that something I did caused the
pews to collapse. I don’t think I have any singular importance, but it is that
I represent all of those who have already heard the call and chosen to return.
I believe the pews actually represent the man made doctrines that people have
been resting on. I noticed also that the upper levels were not affected, only
the lower.
Where was I
going? The darkness on the other side of the door could represent death
of my fleshly body. It could also simply represent that it is still mystery. I
can not overstate the urgency I felt. I had somewhere important to go and
something to do!!!
One last
thing to mention, consider further the late hour. It was in the wee hours of
the morning. Recall that in Gen 1:5 we learn the day begins in the evening. (“..So
the evening and the morning were the first day.”) Consider also, a day is as a
thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. This day, the beginning of the
7,000th year, may have already begun. At the moment of sunset, it is not yet
dark; this is the point of which darkness (profane) begins to MIX with light
(holy). It is called erev in Hebrew. I think it’s interesting that it also
shares the same root as the word for Arab. It is not until later we are in
complete darkness. As the sun rises in the morning, we see the metaphor of
going through the darkness of the tribulation period to then a time of
rejoicing as His Son returns for His reign. Just a thought.
Shalom.
