My younger daughter dreamt that she and her sister were outside in our backyard. They saw one of the neighbor children swinging, but the child was desperately crying out for her father. Right away one of her eyes began hurting. She rubbed it, but it didn't help. She knew that she must pop it out of of its socket and then push it back in to fix it. She did this (and was pretty creeped out), and the pain stopped. She noticed the colors of the leaves of the trees were red and orange, so it must have been in the fall of the year. She bent to the ground and picked up a leaf, but this one was completely brown. All of its life was gone. It began to crumble in her hands, and she wept bitterly as it crumbled away. Next, she saw another tree in our back yard that had the largest leaves she had ever seen. The tree itself was of a typical size, but the leaves were huge and vibrant in colors of orange, yellow, and maybe pink. The next moment she saw that all of our mail was swirling through the air. She was frantic to catch it, but it landed in our swimming pool. She said it was as if we were waiting for an extremely important piece of mail. She took the net and pulled all of the mail out of the pool. However, she doesn't think she found the piece she was waiting for as she did not experience a sense of relief. However, we did receive an invitation to a friend's wedding. It pictured the young woman and young man running on the sand. The theme seemed to be a luau. Bamboo was a visible symbol in the dream.
The dream ended.
I pray Ruach haKodesh will increase our understanding over time. Here is what we see at this point.
The young child represents immature believers. Swinging represents going through the motions and a act of pacifying yourself. She is crying out to her Heavenly Father. Madison's eye, the ayin in Hebrew, represents not only visibly seeing but also understanding. It needed to be reset. Next, she observed the color of the leaves and the time of the year. Trees represent men in Scripture (Psa 1:1-3; Isa 61:3), so the leaves may likely represent their days. (A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day.) The leaf she picked up may represent the end of the days or age of mankind. All life was gone, thus she wept bitterly. We still don't understand why the leaves on one specific tree were so unusually large and vibrant. The mail swirling through the air and being dropped in the pool may represent communication coming through Ruach haKodesh that we will find in His Word. In the mail she fished out of the pool was an announcement of an upcoming wedding. I believe this is a picture of the wedding of the Messiah to His bride. The young woman and man to be married are also believers in Messiah Yeshua and have returned to the whole Word of Elohiym. I thought the luau theme was interesting. The picture of the couple running on the sand made me immediately think of YHVH's promised blessing to Avraham. Gen 22:17 "I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore."
Did the picture of them running on the sand demonstrate the authority Messiah and His bride will have over the multitudes of Avraham's descendants? Bamboo is an interesting symbol, as it is in the grass family, and we also know that grass is a picture of mankind too. It is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, and Bamboo has a higher compressive strength than wood, brick or concrete and a tensile strength that rivals steel.
If Ruach haKodesh reveals any further or corrected understanding to you, I am thankful for your reply. In the meantime, we will continue to pray. Shalom
